Hendy Consulting presents their 2025 QDEL outlook. Quantum Dot Electroluminescent technology will be the new kid on the block by the end of this decade and a serious competitor to OLED. Like-for-like, QDEL has the promise to have better colour performance, higher peak brightness, better environmental stability, lower power and lower cost than OLED. However, as of 2025, lifetimes of the QD emitters, especially for non-Cd are not ready yet.
